Hairy Dawg

Trip ran out into the street for this photo op. I wanted to try to get a photo with the kids with him as well, but Hairy dog wasn't concerned and just kept on walking...

Parade

Georgia is playing in the Citrus Bowl this year. Trip is so happy to be able to go to the game, he is taking Eva with him. We went to the parade yesterday, so these top to photos are of Trip watching the Georgia band do their thing. We really had a nice time and saw several Georgia fans there as well. The picture below is kind of hard to understand without seeing it in action, but I'm sure you can imagine Lee doing one of his signature dances after catching the necklace in his hands. That boy loves a parade. The last picture is of Eva waving to the Disney float that went by last.

Post placement photos for Lee

This time of year, actually every 6 months, I have to find a recent selection of photos of our life with Lee. Our agent likes to see photos of us as a family, but also photos of us alone with Lee. I usually send about 7 or 8 photos to my agent, then after reviewing them he sends them on to the local courthouse in Vietnam where Lee was adopted and then I believe they get sent to the orphanage where he spent his first 4 years of life. I am always happy to send these out in hopes that someone will see them who remembers or loves him and will feel good about his life now. We are required to do this until he is 18, but after next year it will only be once a year instead of every six months. These are just a few we are sending in this time.

Christmas Day

The kids got a Wii, huge hit. We all enjoyed playing with it today. Lee got legos, legos, legos. He stayed in his room most of the day trying to complete every set he got. He has mad lego skills. We are always impressed. Ellis got her Diamond Castle Barbie she had been dreaming of and a raincoat from Cheryl and Peddy Pa. We didn't get snow of course, but we did get rain. She enjoyed breaking in her coat right away!

Pictures of the kids today

So, the kids are out of school and we were about to run some errands, but when I stepped outside and saw how beautiful it was I decided to go back in and take some photos of my kids. Lee is going to be 6 years old next week. I can't get over his growth and how much he has accomplished in the past almost two years. He is really a great kid. So full of love and so willing to help and please. He is so loving toward his sisters and we just couldn't be more proud of him. I thought I would take several of him. Plus, Ellis was angry because Eva had just squeezed her face too hard while hugging her, so she refused to be in any more pictures after the first few. Lee just had a very bad haircut and I am doing my best to work with the hair wax to make it look better. The woman last week cut his side burns OFF. What the heck? Is she for real? Who totally cuts off side burns? The poor boy, now we just have to let it grow out a bit and get a better hair cut from our normal girl, Donia. I took pictures for about 10 or 15 minutes and then the kids were super patient with all of our errands...the bank (lollipops involved), the post office, dropping off several local Christmas cards to neighbors and Target.
The sweater Lee is wearing is super cute on him and a gift from Cheryl and Peddy Pa. Thank you for all of the kids sweaters, they all fit great and really look nice.
