We are home now. Tomorrow is the beginning of another week of school. More packing lunches, getting uniforms ready and helping and checking with homework. Another week of breaking up fights and laying down the law. But, I must say there are many more loving moments between our kids than big fights. I'll post more later. Good week to you all!

A Windy Day in New Smyrna
This is Ellis trying to give me a mean look. I asked her to look very angry. The truth is she had just finished griping at me for something so it shouldn't have been much of a stretch. We are up at New Smyrna Beach now with our friends the Weavers. I was supposed to have two photo sessions today. One lady cancelled and the other I couldn't do because there is now a tropical depression upon us and it's way to windy to even consider taking pictures. So here we are, at the beach with five screaming and arguing children...Lee really acting like a loner because he is the only boy and very disappointed we are not able to play in the ocean. I think we are better off here together though since if we were home our kids would be complaining of being bored. Trip is out of town with John Rader and Neil Weaver in GA. I heard that GA won today so I'm sure the entire Parker family is happy tonight. I need to get all of the little stinkers in a bath. Katy is coaching a baking project with Lillian and Eva. Lillian and Eva have decided that they aren't going to agree on anything for more than a two minute stretch during this trip.
I was going to upload some pictures from the kids at the beach while I'm up here, but I only have a few that I took of Eva and Ellis during our brief walk down to see how windy it really is. BUT like the professional I am, I forgot to bring the cord that links my camera to the computer:)
BATH TIME.

Lee and Mama
Yesterday, Eva played photographer and took some pictures of me with Lee on my lap. That boy is smoochable.
So much to post after this weekend!
These pictures are of Eva and her two friends, Nic Gonzalez and Emma Foister, after the dualthon she was in this weekend. It was her first race and now she says she is hooked and wants to do more. She ran half a mile and biked three miles. Her time was 26 minutes, she came in 15th out of 28 girls.
I got a picture of each of the kids crossing the finish line, I can't tell you how proud they all were. We had a wonderful time.

Sweet Ellis
This is Eva with Kyle's daughter, Zoe. It's hard to see in the photo, but they are both wearing Hannah Montana t-shirts.
Lillian helped start a tag football game. It seemed the kids mostly enjoyed standing in their team's huddle and saying "Break!"
Eva's little dance after some kind of success.

Ellis is 3!!!
These are some pictures from Ellis' birthday celebration. She turned 3 on the 18th, but we were not able to have friends over and have cake until Friday afternoon. She was so sweet, she picked out her own dress to wear and really seemed to enjoy herself. In the picture with Ellis is left to right (Mary Morgan Weaver, Olivia Rader (goddaughter), Eva, Lillian Weaver and Jack Bramuchi.
Ellis enjoys getting a stick and writing in this sandy part of the sidewalk a couple houses down from our house.

Eva carrying Lee, he was laughing while she carried him, then began to pout afterward saying that she sqeezed his stomach too tight. I'm posting a few more of Lee than usual because we got a letter from Me Ba, who cared for him in Vietnam and she said she wanted to see some recent pictures of him. I gave her our blogsite and wanted her to be able to see them in the next day or two. Enjoy Me Ba!!
