Guess who we got to see this weekend?

Sweet Gabby! I had some photo sessions in S. FL so we were able to stay with sweet Gabs family. The two girls (aside from Eva and Ellis) are my friends daughters, I took their pictures as well this weekend. Busy weekend but so nice to see some old friends and get creative.

Pirate wedding and Soccer

I don't think Lee or Ellis have been to a wedding before, so for their first to be a pirate themed wedding I think it may have made an impression. I think they had a great time dressing up for it.
Lee got another goal at Friday's game. I am so glad I was there to see it and to take the team photograph. We will miss the last game. Lee already said he wants to play again.

Our new living room

I just had to post these pictures. For those of you who have never been to our home you may not realize what an improvement this is. Our living room before had a child stained sofa we bought 10 years ago and mix matched furniture. I had enough and decided now that Ellis is 4 she and the others really have the ability to respect our room. So after much help from my friend, Katy, this room is greatly improved.
The fabric on the pillows was part of my inspiration..it's an Osborne & Little, one of my favorite fabric designers. I had to splurge just a bit on getting these made.
The last photo is Eva working so diligently on her vocabulary/spelling words. She is stellar there. She did not inherit my spelling tendencies. Spell check was invented for my kind. (I just had to correct the word "tendencies" through spell check)
On to our weekend. Tomorrow is Lee's last soccer game that we will get to see. My photo shoot for tomorrow night was postponed so I am super happy to be able to go to his game instead. Before Church

Busy weekend

We had such a great weekend. We had a small party for Trip for his 40th birthday and I was finally able show him his present I have been working on (with the help of so many of our wonderful friends.) We redecorated our living room, new sofa, new chairs, coffee table, rug, new mirror over the fireplace, new throw pillows all to go with the new tv I bought him. He loved it, I will have to take a photo of the room.
More photos this weekend, I am really enjoying my work.
The kids are doing well, Lee's Kindergarten teacher is really enjoying him in class (according to her) so that makes me happy. He is doing well in school. Ellis really seems to like her new school this year. I am happy we made the switch from one preschool to another. This one is much more our speed.
Eva did super well on her last multiplication test, we are proud of her for working so hard on ehr facts.

Photos for old friends

My sweet friend, Suzanne came in town for me to take her son's photos. How sweet to see her son and my daughter playing together. He is a cute little boy and had fun pretending there were dinosaurs all around the park.
I am at the beach waiting for anothe photo session this evening. It is so relaxing hearing the waves and wind chimes here. I could go back to sleep even though I havn't been up that long. BUT I have old photos from last week to finish editing, so my work is what needs to keep me awake.
