Birthday, beach and caps

No need to say how far behind I am in posting. Since I posted last I have been getting my holiday ads and schedule ready. We have gone to the beach, Trip has been laid off, Ellis has gotten a tooth capped and turned 5.

Eva is doing well in the 5th grade. She is running for 5th grade SGA, which makes me so nervous. I can't stand the voting by the students stuff. I just never know how it will turn out. I ran for all kinds of things when I was young and some things I made and some things I didn't. I just have to remember that this kind of thing feels harder for me than it probably does for her right now. She is full of hope that she will get voted in, I truly hope that for her.

These top pics are of Ellis' birthday party. We had an "artist party" and let the kids do all kinds of water color pictures. Ellis loves to paint. One of our sweet neighbors offered to take some pictures with my camera while we sang to Ellis, I am totally used to not being in pictures, so I was glad to have someone brave enough to use my camera!
Also in the good news front, our nephew, Jonah, finished his last chemo treatment on Monday. Woohoo! Way to go Jonah. What a champ. We will continue to pray for good news on his next scan.

The Unblogger

I have been slow to update. My mind has been on other things, this ad is something I am trying to schedule now.
The kids have started school and seem to enjoy it. 5th grade is proving to be full of activity and possibilities for Eva. Lee is working hard through his struggles in reading. Ellis, my sweet baby, is turning 5 tomorrow. Pre-K seems to keep her active and happy each day.
