the last week

That time of year. We had a great weekend with some friends at the beach. I would like to say I am super well rested, but we all stayed up too late chatting and playing card games. Fun! I am emotionally rested, however, and that matters just as much.
I need to blog more, because when I just looked back through the years I realized how much this serves as a family album for us. I would not have even remembered half of those pictures of my children if they weren't here!
I am so excited because Christmas is coming up!! I love the smell of fireplaces burning and the cooler weather. If I could freeze time, it would be during this time of the year.
