Two goals for Lee!

This first photo is of the son of friends of ours. So handsome my cha chi.

Lee had a soccer game on Saturday and he was on fire! He made two goals but also assisted in several plays and almost made a third goal with a break away steal from the other team. I was super impressed, his skills are improving.

This week we had parent teacher conferences. Both kids are doing well. Eva was one of the highest scores in her class for the benchmark math test in January. We are very proud of her for that, knowing that math is an area where she sometimes struggles.
I am super happy to say that Lee's teacher said "ABSOLUTELY, no holding him back!" I knew he could do it, I have seen him come so far in the past two years. His only issue, as expected, is that group instruction is sometimes difficult for him to grasp. This is not uncommon for laguage delayed children, but this should all change within the next few years. He does well one on one.

Ellis has suprised me lately with her knowledge of the letter sounds in the alphabet and even recognizing certain words. She has developed a big interest in books and really enjoys looking through stories and listening to books on tape.
